PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Kondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sans Pression - Numero 1 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuki Kondo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, George Palmer!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kondo pinned against the cage. Kondo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kondo connects with the punch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kondo, as that shot connected.
Kondo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kondo misses with an uppercut. Palmer saw that one coming.
Palmer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Palmer walks into a left hand.
Palmer pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kondo is out of range and Palmer settles back down.
Palmer throws a body kick that misses.
The fighters circling - Kondo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kondo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Palmer is rocked!
Kondo closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Palmer! Kondo dives in looking to finish! Palmer is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
