Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bugs Bani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Leonidas I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bani comes to the cage accompanied by Kiss me. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonidas I tries to bum rush Bani with a series of wild strikes but Bani uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bani shoots in but no luck this time.
Leonidas I displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bani.
Leonidas I rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bani moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bani is looking for a counter combo.
Leonidas I tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bani seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Bani shoots in looking for a takedown but Leonidas I manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bani's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bugs Bani. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bani shoots in looking for a takedown. Leonidas I tries to sprawl out of it but Bani keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leonidas I manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Leonidas I will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Leonidas I is looking to clinch.
It looked like Bani was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
King Leonidas I seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bani tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Leonidas I swivels and escapes.
Bani misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Leonidas I misses with a left hand
and Bani counters with a series of strikes. Leonidas I will be more careful next time no doubt.

Leonidas I fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bani, pushing him back against the cage.
Bani tries to pull guard but Leonidas I won't allow it.

Leonidas I breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Leonidas I will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Leonidas I throws a shot from downtown. Bani moves away and avoids it.
Bani appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Leonidas I fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bani looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Leonidas I gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Leonidas I breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Leonidas I cracks a nice hook into Bani's ribs.
Bani closes this distance looking for a takedown but Leonidas I circles away.
Leonidas I displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bani.

Leonidas I tries to throw a body punch but Bani avoids it by throwing Leonidas I back against the cage.
Leonidas I misses with a body punch.

Bani breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bani shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Leonidas I sprawls well. Leonidas I wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bani gets slowly back to his feet.

Leonidas I drops Bani with a beautiful combination! Bani stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Leonidas I is looking for the KO!

Bani is rocked!

It looks like Bugs Bani has been cut.

Leonidas I tries to clinch but Bani moves out of range.
Bani tries to score a power double leg takedown but Leonidas I sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bani somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King Leonidas I dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bugs Bani's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Leonidas I changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Bani closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Leonidas I quickly recovers to half guard.

Bani is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Leonidas I has managed to free his arm - good work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bani connects with a nice short shot to Leonidas I's temple.
Bani is keen to just control but Leonidas I is a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bani in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Leonidas I tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bani!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bugs Bani!
Bugs Bani made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Life's like a box of Chocolates, you'll never know what you'll get'.
