The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stick misses with a jab, cross combination.
Klice changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Stick looks to clinch

and Klice counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Stick!
Klice tries to advance to mount but can't.
Stick is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Klice off and has taken his back!
Stick tries to keep control of the position but Klice is staying busy.
Klice tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Klice wants to control but Stick is having none of it.

Stick has isolated one of Klice's arms. Klice looking to fight him off but Stick twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Wooden Stick!
Wooden Stick looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'It is about being clever - thinking about the angles and levels of the fight. In combat, the mind is more powerful than the body, and in this occasion, evidently, I am mentally superior to my opponent, but it was a good fight, and I thank him for it. '.
