The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Carvalho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Max shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Max is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carvalho.
Carvalho takes a swing at Max's ribcage but misses.
Max feints and then cracks Carvalho's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Carvalho down.
Max throws a body shot but no joy.
Carvalho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Max.
Carvalho throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Carvalho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Max moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Carvalho throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Crunch! Max slams his shin into Carvalho's torso.
Max dodges the punch combination from Carvalho.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Carvalho lands with a hook. Max tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Max misses the shot to the body.
Max takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Carvalho misses with a double jab.
Carvalho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Max moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
It looked like Max was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Max slips a jab and a cross from Carvalho.
Some wild striking there from Carvalho.
Max lands a head shot.
Carvalho misses with a few strikes there.
Carvalho throws a nice looking combination but Max bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Carvalho misses with a double jab
and Max counters with a big right hand! Oh Carvalho is in trouble here! Max follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
