The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makinwa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spazstor moves away.

Makinwa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Makinwa is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Spazstor throws a head kick that half lands.
An inside leg kick lands from Spazstor.
Spazstor lands a leg kick that knocks Makinwa off balance momentarily.
Makinwa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Makinwa sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Makinwa lands with a straight right. Spazstor didn't see that one coming.
Spazstor thows a left - swing and a miss!

It looks like Zlatan Spazstor has been cut.
Spazstor looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Zlatan Spazstor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Makinwa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Makinwa stuns Spazstor with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Makinwa catches Spazstor with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Spazstor misses with an uppercut. Makinwa saw that one coming.
Makinwa lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Spazstor swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Makinwa will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Makinwa paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Spazstor is rocked!
Makinwa throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Spazstor tries a quick counter leg kick but Makinwa is wise to it.
Makinwa lands with a right hand.
Spazstor is still on wobbly legs! Can Makinwa finish him?
Spazstor throws a front kick aimed at Makinwa's knee but Makinwa avoids it well.
Spazstor seems to have recovered his senses.
Makinwa sends Spazstor crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Makinwa is motioning to the referee to let Spazstor up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spazstor walks straight into a right hand from Makinwa - that's dropped him! Makinwa jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Spazstor from any more punishment! Spazstor complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ugor Makinwa!
