Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Krause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glorious Superior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krause kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Heart of a Champion. Glorious Superior struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Glorious Superior is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

With a record of 17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Glorious Superior!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krause shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Superior pinned against the cage. Superior gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Superior cracks Krause with a right hand to the side of the head.
Superior fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Superior gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Krause won't allow Superior to sweep him here.
We've been hearing good reports from Krause's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Krause will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Krause has his foot on Superior's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Superior works his way back into a safe position though.

Krause working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Superior doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Superior manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Superior uses his free foot to push down on Krause's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Krause.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Krause shoots in and drives through. Superior sprawls well.

Krause is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Superior is just riding it out for now. Krause eventually gives up the hold.

Horrible takedown attempt by Krause or perhaps it was just good defense by Superior, which made it look bad.

Glorious Superior comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Superior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

James Krause was interviewed post fight and said 'I guess Ferris was the better man tonight. I hope we fight again soon. That title will be mine.'.
