PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akito Toyotoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borhan Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borhan Khan struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akito Toyotoku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Borhan Khan!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Toyotoku is trying to defend but Khan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Akito Toyotoku has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Borhan Khan.

Khan darts in looking for a takedown but Toyotoku gets double underhooks and turns Khan into the cage.

Toyotoku circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Khan drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Toyotoku follows Khan to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akito Toyotoku!
After winning the bout, Akito Toyotoku thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
