Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dandy Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davy Nube (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Swanson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kill For Satan. Nube has chosen Boom - P.O.D. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Swanson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dandy Swanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swanson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nube defends well and Swanson ends up having to push Nube into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nube throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Swanson lands a head kick. Nube smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Nube displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Swanson throws out the jab.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nube jabs Swanson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Swanson feints and then cracks Nube's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nube down.
Nube throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nube on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Nube takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Swanson has closed the distance and engaged Nube in a clinch.

Swanson wants the takedown. Nube is fighting it off but Swanson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Nube's guard against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nube really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Swanson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Swanson wants to advance to full mount but Nube doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Swanson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nube's guard.

Swanson thows a huge punch but Nube dodges it nicely.
Swanson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nube with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Swanson wants to pass to mount but Nube is defending the position.
Swanson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Swanson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nube does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
