The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draymond misses with an uppercut. Khan saw that one coming.
We've been hearing reports that Khan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Draymond feints and as Khan raises his hands in defense, Draymond changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Draymond trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Khan wants to stand but Draymond is controlling the position.
Khan has Draymond pulled in close to control his posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Draymond prevents Khan from getting back to his feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Draymond takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Whack! Khan lands a heavy head kick that drops Draymond. The ref tackles Khan to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Draymond was done.

After winning the bout, Temoodschin Khan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
