The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodriquez looking to score a takedown here. Secen is defending well but Rodriquez drives through and ends up in Secen's guard.

Secen is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Rodriquez presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Secen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rodriquez gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Secen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rodriquez pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Rodriquez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Secen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
