Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Richie Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Kasak Kusuk!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ron Honeybunn and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kusuk.
Carter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kusuk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Carter swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kusuk counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Richie Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kusuk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Carter misses with a few strikes there.
Kusuk tries a quick counter leg kick but Carter is wise to it.
Carter walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kusuk ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Carter falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kusuk counters with a one-two to the body.
Kusuk turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Carter misses with a double jab
and Kusuk counters with a leg kick.
Some wild striking there from Carter.
Carter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Carter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kusuk fakes the leg kick and cracks Carter in the body.
Kusuk throws a nice inside leg kick.
No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kusuk is looking for the big counter here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kusuk cracks Carter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Carter swinging wildly here.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Kusuk lands with a kick to the temple. Carter shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Carter swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kusuk counters with a low kick, right behind Carter 's knee.
A punch combination from Carter misses.
Kusuk was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Kusuk cracks the inside of Carter's front leg.
Nice body punch from Carter.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kusuk.
Carter tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kusuk lands with a thumping leg kick.
Carter throws a series of punches but Kusuk avoids them all with ease.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Good standup being displayed there by Kusuk as he connects with a hook.
Kusuk throws out a powerful jab.
Carter throws a right hand that Kusuk ducks under and follows up with a left that Kusuk also avoids with ease.
Kusuk slips a jab and a cross from Carter.
Carter has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kusuk.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kusuk misses with the combination.
Carter takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Carter is rocked!
Carter ducks into an uppercut from Kusuk and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kasak Kusuk!
During a confident post fight interview, Kasak Kusuk thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
