Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dante Boudain!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lu drops his hands momentarily and Boudain takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Ji Lu has been cut.
Lu checks the leg kick nicely there.
Boudain has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Boudain will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Boudain throws a sloppy head kick and Lu moves out of range easily.

and Lu counters with a nice uppercut.
Boudain shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
It looked like Lu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A solid leg kick lands there for Boudain.
Boudain takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Boudain is breathing heavily.

Lu cracks Boudain with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lu has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Boudain to stand back up!

Boudain is rocked!
Crack! Lu connects with the perfect overhand right and Boudain falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Lu!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ji Lu!
An out of breath Ji Lu thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
