The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dravens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Nice body kick from Draven.
Newman misses with a series of wild punches.
Newman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Draven. Draven obviously looking to wear him down.
Newman misses with a few strikes there.
A big right from Newman misses.
Draven appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Newman misses with a double jab.
Draven showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Newman.

Newman throws a right and a left that Draven avoids nicely.
Newman throws a leg kick but Draven sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Newman throws an off balance right hand
and Draven counters with a nice kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Draven lands a big head kick that sends Newman tumbling to the mat! Draven takes a step backwards and waves Newman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Newman is rocked!

It looks like Cris Newman has been cut.
Look low, kick high! Draven uses the oldest trick in the book to send Newman tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Draven is absolutely delighted - when Newman wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
