Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Palmer Patel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miko Lucman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eye Of The Tiger. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Lucman moves into the clinch.

Lucman has picked Patel up - he's going for a ride! Lucman dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Patel manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Patel misses with a takedown attempt - Lucman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lucman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Patel, pushing him back against the cage.
Patel wants to break free but Lucman has control.

Lucman drags the fight down to the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lucman wriggles free and stands up.

Patel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Patel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lucman manages to get himself to full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lucman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Patel trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Patel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Patel trying to control the position from guard on top but Lucman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lucman is pulling down on Patel's head. It's preventing any offense from Patel, at least for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lucman wants to control from the top but Patel keeps moving.
Lucman distracts Patel with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Lucman chips away with some ground and pound.

Patel is rocked!
Lucman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lucman arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Patel's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
