Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gio Orsini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jim Bentiels!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bentiels is looking to clinch but Orsini is avoiding it.
Orsini is looking to counter punch.
Jim Bentiels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Orsini moves into the clinch successfully.
Orsini takes a knee right on the jaw!
Bentiels swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Bentiels's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bentiels closes the distance and clinches.
Orsini is trying to break the clinch but Bentiels is controlling him.
Bentiels with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
I was talking to Orsini's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Orsini is breathing heavily.
Bentiels tries to land knees in the clinch but Orsini avoids the damage to the body.

Orsini's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bentiels moves into range and clinches up with Orsini.
Bentiels looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Orsini tries to break free but Bentiels pushes him back against the cage.
Bentiels lands a knee to the head.


Orsini is rocked!
Bentiels with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Oh Orsini is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bentiels jerks Orsini's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Orsini drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Bentiels goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Bentiels because Orsini was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Jim Bentiels!
