Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mean Muggin!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey jabs Muggin to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Bailey clinches with his opponent.
Muggin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bailey is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bailey prevents a takedown attempt there.
Muggin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bailey walks away with a smile on his face. Muggin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Joe Bailey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mean Muggin.
Bailey scores with a kick to the midsection.

Bailey closes the distance and clinches.

Bailey breaks from the clinch.
Muggin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bailey as he avoids it easily.
Bailey scores with a one two! Muggin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Bailey keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Muggin darts in trying to clinch
and Bailey counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Muggin takes the fight into the clinch.

Bailey manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bailey moves into the clinch.

Bailey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Muggin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bailey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Muggin fails with a takedown attempt.
We've been told by Bailey's head coaches at Abobomination Training $800 13 LEGIT elite coaches that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Muggin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bailey.
Bailey scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Muggin moves to clinch but Bailey breaks away
and Bailey counters with a three punch combo that has Muggin backing up. Muggin nods at Bailey to acknowledge the strikes.
Muggin throws a wild hook but Bailey just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Muggin gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Bailey raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Bailey!
