Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Rad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobias Ziegler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kyle Rad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tobias Ziegler!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ziegler throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rad counters with a three punch combo that has Ziegler backing up. Ziegler nods at Rad to acknowledge the strikes.
Rad lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ziegler slaps away a takedown attempt from Rad, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ziegler has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rad.
Ziegler fails with a takedown attempt.
Rad quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Rad throws out a loose jab but Ziegler uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ziegler unleashes a big counter combination but Rad bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Rad lands an overhand right.
Ziegler lands a nice looking body kick.
Ziegler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ziegler fails to land with a series of punches.
Ziegler misses with a combination
and Rad counters with a good low kick that Ziegler was not able to check.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rad fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ziegler.
Rad connects with a solid leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ziegler.

Rad sneaks out the side door and pushes Ziegler away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Ziegler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rad but Rad pushes him off and we're back to square one.
It looked like Rad wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Ziegler throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rad counters with an inside leg kick.
Rad connects with an inside leg kick.
Ziegler misses with a double jab.
Rad was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rad connects with a single shot there.
Rad thumps Ziegler with a low kick.
Ziegler walks forward, straight into a front kick from Rad.
Ziegler throws a series of punches but Rad moves out of range.
Rad fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ziegler.
Rad throws a leg kick which misses Ziegler's front leg but catches the back leg as Ziegler tries to avoid it.
Ziegler misses with a series of wild punches.
Ziegler looks winded!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rad, right into the meat.
Rad buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rad connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Rad scores with a jab to the head.
Rad scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ziegler fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kyle Rad is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ziegler has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rad finds it's way round the side to connect with Ziegler's head.
Rad lands a nice shot to the body.
Rad throws a quick inside leg kick.
No joy there for Ziegler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rad really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ziegler takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Kyle Rad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tobias Ziegler.

and Rad counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Rad.
Ziegler's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Rad scores with a sloppy right hand. Ziegler should have avoided that one.


Ziegler is rocked!
Ziegler takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Ziegler is still on wobbly legs! Can Rad finish him?
Tobias Ziegler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ziegler takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Rad looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rad thumps Ziegler with a low kick.
Ziegler seems to have recovered his senses.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Rad.
Rad fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ziegler.

Rad lands a big head kick that sends Ziegler tumbling to the mat! Rad takes a step backwards and waves Ziegler back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ziegler on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

A nice leg kick lands there from Rad.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rad.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rad.

Rad blocks a head kick by Ziegler.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rad.
Rad throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Rad scoring well with a low kick there.
Rad moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Rad throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rad lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Rad jabs Ziegler to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ziegler takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Rad lands a leg kick that knocks Ziegler off balance momentarily.
Rad throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Ziegler swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rad throws a shot to the body.
Rad thuds his shin into the meat of Ziegler's side.
Rad throws a leg kick which misses Ziegler's front leg but catches the back leg as Ziegler tries to avoid it.
Ziegler takes a shot to the body in his stride.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle Rad dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Oooooh!!! Rad has knocked Ziegler down with a huge combo! Rad steps away and waves a wobbly Ziegler back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Ziegler swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rad counters with an inside leg kick.
Rad thows a body kick. Ziegler tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Rad is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ziegler can do to turn this around?
Ziegler has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rad finds it's way round the side to connect with Ziegler's head.
Rad feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ziegler's calf.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ziegler stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rad.
Ziegler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looks like Rad has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Ziegler has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Rad.
Rad lands a nice shot that snaps Ziegler's head back.
Ziegler throws a leg kick but Rad checks it.
Rad throws a head kick but Ziegler moves out of range.
Despite the aggression on Ziegler's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Ziegler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rad swats him away and circles back towards the center.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rad here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Rad connects with a single shot there.
Ziegler throws a leg kick but Rad moved away.
Rad tried to counter with a leg kick but Ziegler avoided it.
Rad rushes Ziegler and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Ziegler is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Rad piles on the pressure and Ziegler crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Rad!
A relieved looking Kyle Rad thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
