Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 wins, 4 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jason Bozzi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 wins, 3 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of New York, Tyaf Daeland Puno!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bozzi thuds his right hand into Puno's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Bozzi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Puno with the counter takedown but Bozzi avoids it easily.
Bozzi misses with a hook.
And Puno tries to counter it with a takedown but Bozzi pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Bozzi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Puno closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bozzi is trying to maintain the position but Puno is very close to passing his half guard.
Puno looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bozzi moves into full guard.
Puno trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Puno trying to control the position from guard on top but Bozzi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bozzi is trying to keep Puno in close.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Puno stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Bozzi throws up his legs and catches Puno in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Puno tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Bozzi! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Jason Bozzi!
