Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eikmeyer dives in and grabs Silvestre's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silvestre pushes down on Eikmeyer's head and hops out.
Silvestre throws a jab when Eikmeyer was well out of range.
Silvestre throws a hook to the side of Eikmeyer's head but Eikmeyer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Eikmeyer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silvestre avoids it really well and circles away.
An attempted straight right counter from Silvestre misses the target.
Eikmeyer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silvestre but Silvestre pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lucian Silvestre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Eikmeyer.
A slow jab from Silvestre misses its intended target.
Eikmeyer is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Eikmeyer.
Eikmeyer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silvestre was covering up waiting for the punch and Eikmeyer finishes the takedown easily into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Eikmeyer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Silvestre knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Eikmeyer on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Eikmeyer drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Eikmeyer as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Silvestre screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Eikmeyer! Nice submission victory there!

Mario Eikmeyer decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
