Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Dotson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Siggi Wuerdig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Siggi Wuerdig will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rolando Dotson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Siggi Wuerdig!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wuerdig looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Dotson tries to counter with a takedown but Wuerdig is quick to defend against it.

Wuerdig is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dotson's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wuerdig connects with a nice short shot to Dotson's temple.
Dotson is trying to stand back up but Wuerdig is controlling him

Dotson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wuerdig manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dotson has Wuerdig in his guard.

Wuerdig is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Wuerdig is pushing down on Dotson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dotson is fighting to maintain full guard but Wuerdig has managed to sneak the leg through.

Wuerdig is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dotson defends it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wuerdig fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dotson.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Wuerdig. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Siggi Wuerdig showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wuerdig closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dotson's guard.

Dotson is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Wuerdig presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Wuerdig has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dotson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wuerdig.

Dotson tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Dotson is looking to take a break and control but Wuerdig is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dotson throwing strikes but Wuerdig manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Dotson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wuerdig is controlling him well.

You can see the frustration on Dotson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Siggi Wuerdig comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wuerdig has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
