Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darren Myles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zorba The Greek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Myles might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Red Hot Chili Peppers - Can't Stop. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myles tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Greek was well out of range. Poor timing from Myles.
Myles staying out of range there.
Myles seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Myles throws a right and a left that The Greek avoids nicely.
Myles misses with a combination
and The Greek counters with a straight right hand.
Myles throws a nice looking combination but The Greek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It seemed like The Greek was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

The Greek displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Myles throws out the jab.
A little jabbing left from The Greek on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

A jab-cross combination lands for Myles and sends The Greek crashing to the mat! Myles follows him down to the mat - The Greek regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Zorba The Greek has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Myles takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Myles lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt The Greek quite badly. The Greek pulls Myles in close trying to recover. Myles postures up and lands two really hard shots that put The Greek on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but The Greek doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
