Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zdravko Dren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dren has chosen GETO BOYS - mind of a lunatic as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Zdravko Dren!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dren throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've been hearing reports that Jones has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones scores with a jab to the jaw.
Dren fakes the leg kick and cracks Jones in the body.
Dren pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jones counters with a left to the body.
Jones looks to land a right hand but Dren moved out of range.
Dren has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
No joy there for Dren, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones works Dren's body with a nice hook.
A shot to the liver by Dren. Beautiful body shot.

Dren scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Johnny Jones has been cut.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Dren.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dren sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dren connects with a nice looking jab.
Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dren sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Zdravko Dren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dren lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Jones can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Dren and Jones drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Dren.

Zdravko Dren really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that AnonymouS logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
