Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Reuben Kincaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Ferrara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kincaid's entrance music is REM - Orange Crush. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kincaid throws a body kick that misses.
Ferrara fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kincaid checks it well.
Kincaid leaves Ferrara with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ferrara fails with a takedown attempt.
Kincaid half committed to a counter leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferrara shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reuben Kincaid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zack Ferrara.
Kincaid throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kincaid connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ferrara momentarily.

It looks like Zack Ferrara has been cut.

Ferrara looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ferrara looks to land a right hand but Kincaid moved out of range.
Ferrara fails with the takedown
and Kincaid counters with a nice body kick.
Kincaid just misses with a punch to the body.
Ferrara with the counter takedown but Kincaid avoids it easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kincaid.

Ferrara drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kincaid has control of Ferrara's left arm, preventing Ferrara from doing any damage.
Kincaid wants to sweep but no luck.
Kincaid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ferrara on the ground.

Kincaid is looking to stand up but Ferrara isn't so interested in that idea.
Kincaid keeping moving, preventing Ferrara from controlling successfully.
Kincaid is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kincaid will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ferrara wants to pass the guard but Kincaid is keeping the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ferrara dives in for a single leg takedown but Kincaid sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kincaid is looking to counter the offense by Ferrara and move into the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kincaid. That's going to slow Ferrara down.
Ferrara closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kincaid circles away.
Kincaid and Ferrara are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Kincaid throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Ferrara into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Kincaid knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
