Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lehel Kosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lehel Kosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ryan Oliver!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver shoots in for a takedown but Kosa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Oliver tries for a takedown but Kosa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oliver is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kosa can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Oliver looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

As Oliver looks to move away, Kosa throws a big counter combo but Oliver just gets out of the way.

Oliver drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kosa looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kosa looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kosa!

Oliver is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kosa off and has taken his back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kosa wants to control his opponent's hands but Oliver gets his hands free.

Oliver has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kosa has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
