Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Varg Veide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Veide has chosen Bachman-Turner Overdrive - Taking Care of Business as his entrance music. Varg Veide acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veide throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bane steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Veide.
Bane looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Veide is fending him off so far but Bane persists. Nope, Veide circles away and we're back to standing.
Veide moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Veide moves out of range of the leg kick from Bane.
We've been hearing reports that Bane has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Veide uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bane.
A looping hook to the body misses from Veide. Bane does a little dance to reset his feet.
Veide lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Veide goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Veide has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bane throws a shot to the body.
Bane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Veide.
Bane throws a body kick that misses.
Bane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Veide throws a body punch but Bane moves out of range.
Bane blocks a head kick by Veide.
Veide pushes Bane up against the cage in a clinch.
Veide pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bane gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Bane swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Veide counters with a left and a right that stings Bane.
Bane walks into a left hand.
Veide lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bane circles away quickly and effectively.
Bane avoids the body shot from Veide.
Bane looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Veide takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Veide.
Bane throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Veide.
Good leg kick by Bane there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bane tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bane throws a lazy body kick
and Veide cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bane moves out of range as Veide throws a body kick.
Veide keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bane throws a front kick aimed at Veide's knee but Veide avoids it well.
Veide throws a series of punches but Bane moves out of range.
Veide blocks a head kick by Bane.
Bane lands a nice hook to Veide's body. Veide takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Veide throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Veide connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Veide tries to bum rush Bane with a series of wild strikes but Bane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bane misses with a wild body shot.
Bane just misses with a punch to the body.
Bane looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Veide is fending him off so far but Bane persists. Nope, Veide circles away and we're back to standing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Veide! But no joy.
Veide catches Bane with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Veide looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Veide looks for the body kick but Bane saw that one coming.
Bane misses with a body shot.
A head kick from Veide lands but Bane takes it in his stride.
It looks like Lucas Bane has been cut.
Bane misses with a head kick.
Veide comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Veide lands a big head kick that sends Bane tumbling to the mat! Veide takes a step backwards and waves Bane back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bane is rocked!
Bane throws a predictable looking body shot
and Veide counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bane! Veide lets Bane back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Bane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bane takes a swing at Veide's ribcage but misses.
Varg Veide is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bane walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Veide! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
