Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stan Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafa Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivers comes to the cage accompanied by Cyco Vision. The crowd seem to be enjoying Silva's choice of entrance music: UFC Theme Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Rivers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 56 - 11 - 3, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafa Silva!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Silva throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A combination from Rivers does no damage.
Rivers jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rivers throws a nice head kick!
Silva blocks a leg kick.
Rivers looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Silva takes one to the side of the head.
Rivers lands with a nice body punch.
Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rivers has time to react.
Rivers wants to clinch.
Rivers scores with a one two! Silva had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva throws a looping overhand right but Rivers ducks down to avoid it.
Rivers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rivers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Rivers persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Rivers throws out a leg kick but Silva moves out of range and Rivers only half commits.
Silva throws a leg kick that is checked
and Rivers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rivers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silva jabs Rivers to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Silva misses with a leg kick.
Silva throws a leg kick but Rivers checks it.
Silva misses with an uppercut
and Rivers counters with a nice uppercut.
Rivers misses with a low kick as Silva jumps back.
Silva takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A punch combination from Rivers misses.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Silva - that will leave a mark!
Silva throws a right hand that Rivers ducks under and follows up with a left that Rivers also avoids with ease.
Rivers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Silva.
Rafa Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rivers gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Silva.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rivers has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Silva.
Rivers lands with a slapping head kick.
Silva on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rivers is looking to land body kicks.
Silva throws a lazy right hand but Rivers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Silva moves out of range as Rivers strikes.
Silva shapes to counter with a head kick.
Rivers bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Rivers has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva misses with a punch on the inside.
I was talking to Rivers's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Rivers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A good leg kick by Rivers.
Rivers thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rivers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Silva lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rivers has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rivers and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silva closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Silva loads up on a big right hand but Rivers slips the punch.
A jab from Rivers does it's job there.
Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rivers.
Rivers throws a head kick that half lands.
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rivers moves out of range of the body kick from Silva.
Rivers cracks Silva with a good jab.
Rivers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rivers is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Silva lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Silva throws a chopping leg kick but Rivers manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Rivers lands with an overhand left.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva stuns Rivers with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Rivers shoots in but no luck this time.
Rivers misses with a wild combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rivers misses the jab.
Rivers throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Silva misses with a leg kick
and Rivers counters with a straight right hand.

Silva moves into the clinch.
Rivers blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Rivers dodges an elbow strike from Silva.

Rivers manages to break the clinch.
Rivers scores with a jab to the head.
Rivers shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Silva eats them both and turns towards Rivers to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Rivers throws a leg kick
and Rivers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Silva looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Rivers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stan Rivers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rivers throws a head kick that misses.
Silva misses with a low kick as Rivers jumps back.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Rivers.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stan Rivers dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Stan Rivers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rivers wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.
Rivers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Rivers fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rivers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Rivers.
Silva connects with a nice looking jab.
Silva circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Rivers drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Silva follows Rivers to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rafa Silva!
A relieved looking Rafa Silva thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Stan Rivers spoke after the fight, saying 'I want to thank all you fans for coming out tonight, Museum of Monsters & Madmen for making me look so good,the gang at Montreal Fighter's Gym,all of my loved ones back home,and Mega Jug for letting me fight here in EVOLUTION! I really wanted the win tonight.'.
