The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paddy throws a right hand that Hageman ducks under and follows up with a left that Hageman also avoids with ease.
Paddy dives in and scores a takedown into Hageman's guard.

Hageman wants to sweep but no luck.
Paddy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Paddy's coach down at Club Pain (Sparring & 6 Ellite) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Paddy's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Paddy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hageman gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hageman lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Hageman throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Hageman lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Hageman digs a right hand into Paddy's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Paddy's gas tank.
Hageman drops Paddy onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Paddy is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hageman dips a shoulder and cracks Paddy with a mighty uppercut! Paddy falls back against the cage and Hageman unloads with a barrage of strikes! Paddy is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hageman screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diego Hageman!
