Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Vachon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kata Telfordio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vachon comes into the arena with Mad Dog Tribute blaring out of the sound system. Telfordio comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter Sandman - Metallica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kata Telfordio will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Telfordio tries to clinch there but Vachon circles away.
Telfordio scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Vachon regains full guard. Nicely done.
Vachon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Telfordio manages to get himself to full guard.
Vachon content to stall in guard here.
Vachon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Vachon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Telfordio throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vachon advances to half guard.
Vachon landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vachon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Vachon lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vachon lands a nice short elbow.
Vachon wants to free his trapped foot but Telfordio is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Telfordio tries to roll over but Vachon keeps him under control.
Vachon wants to work for an arm triangle but Telfordio is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Vachon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Telfordio wants to sweep but Vachon has passed to side control!
Vachon in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Telfordio is rocked!

Vachon lands a huge shot from side control! Telfordio is out cold! This one is all over!
