Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gary Player (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Marsden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Player might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kevin Gates feat. August Alsina - I Don't Get Tired. Marsden has chosen Feiticeira by Deftones as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsden blocks a leg kick.
Marsden catches Player with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Marsden has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Marsden has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Player stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Marsden has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Player manages to get his head free but now Marsden has transitioned to an armbar! Player grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Marsden! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
