Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kelvin Bang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Simon Salgado!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ron Honeybunn and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salgado throws a predictable looking body shot

and Bang counters with a takedown into side control.

Salgado seems a little lost for a moment, as Bang dominates the positioning.
Bang prevents Salgado from escaping the position.

Salgado looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bang misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Bang throws an elbow but Salgado slips to the side and avoids it well.
Bang working the ground and pound but Salgado is defending the strikes.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bang is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Salgado will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Salgado swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bang counters with a nice uppercut.
Simon Salgado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salgado misses the jab.
Bang is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Salgado.
Good exchange - Bang coming out on top.
Salgado has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Bang counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Salgado is still on wobbly legs! Can Bang finish him?

Bang wants the takedown. Salgado is fighting it off but Bang persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Salgado's guard against the cage.
Salgado is wriggling around but Bang manages to pass to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bang lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Salgado quite badly. Salgado pulls Bang in close trying to recover. Bang postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Salgado on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Salgado doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kelvin Bang!
Kelvin Bang seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
