Patrick comes to the cage accompanied by Jump Around by House of Pain. Saint Patrick has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

WrayCutlass throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Patrick tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. WrayCutlass is in Patrick's guard.

Patrick pushes WrayCutlass off and gets back to his feet.
Saint Patrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

WrayCutlass drives through and clinches with Patrick against the cage.
Patrick fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Patrick tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. WrayCutlass just stands there and leans against the cage.
WrayCutlass wants to break free but Patrick has control.
Patrick throws a punch but it's blocked by WrayCutlass.
Still in the clinch, Patrick scores with a nice short uppercut.
Patrick tries a body shot but WrayCutlass blocks it.
Patrick tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saint Patrick. That's going to take a lot out of him.

WrayCutlass has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Patrick clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Patrick wants to control his opponent's hands but WrayCutlass gets his hands free.
Patrick manages to reverse the position and now he's in WrayCutlass's guard. Nice work there by Patrick.
Patrick stays in close to WrayCutlass's body and controls the position.

Patrick is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Patrick passes into half guard.

Patrick has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can WrayCutlass defend it? Patrick steps over the head and cranks it - WrayCutlass is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Patrick!
