Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Lemieux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lemieux throws a right hand that misses
and Andrews counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lemieux thinking.
Lemieux scores with a nice strike.
Andrews uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lemieux has time to react.
Andrews misses with a straight left.
Good exchange - Lemieux coming out on top.
Andrews is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lemieux's half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Andrews looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lemieux with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lemieux is looking to escape.
Andrews missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Lemieux pushes Andrews off looking to stand but Andrews dives back in and keeps control.
Andrews is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Lemieux is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Andrews takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Lemieux wants to get back to his feet.
Lemieux manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Andrews keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Andrews just leaning against Lemieux, taking a breather.

Andrews throws a right and a left that Lemieux avoids nicely.
Andrews tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lemieux sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Andrews somewhat.
Andrews moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Lemieux cracks Andrews with an open hand slap.

Lemieux moves in close and cracks Andrews with a massive right hand! Andrews, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Lemieux!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). David Lemieux!
After winning the bout, David Lemieux thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
