Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Cabrillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan comes to the cage accompanied by Sherry Monocle. Simon Morgan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Cabrillo!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Cabrillo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morgan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cabrillo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morgan circles away quickly and effectively.

Morgan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Morgan.
Cabrillo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Cabrillo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Morgan to the mat! Morgan manages to get full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cabrillo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Morgan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cabrillo is working away from the top position though.

Cabrillo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Morgan's guard.

Cabrillo slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Well Cabrillo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In his post fight interview, Juan Cabrillo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
