The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sharp shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fangto is trying to stand.
Sharp with the ground and pound but Fangto uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Sharp working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Fangto wants to stand and escape but Sharp is having none of it.
Sharp postures up in Fangto's guard and throws a big left but Fangto blocks it.
Sharp might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Fangto manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Sharp jumps guard and drags Fangto to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Sharp fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fangto avoids it really well and circles away.

Sharp gets a double leg takedown into Fangto's guard.
Sharp lands a couple of digs.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sharp stops Fangto from standing up.

Sharp throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fangto works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Fangto is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sharp is controlling him.

Sharp postures up in Fangto's guard and throws a big left but Fangto blocks it.

Fangto manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Fangto drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Fangto has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
A bone on bone clash there as Fangto blocks the leg kick.
Fangto pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

A big head kick from Fangto and Sharp is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Noble Sharp has been cut.

Sharp fails with the takedown.
Sharp looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fangto is fending him off so far but Sharp persists. Nope, Fangto circles away and we're back to standing.

Sharp is breathing heavily.

Fangto shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Sharp manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Fangto keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fangto breaks from the clinch.
Fangto tries to close the distance and clinch but Sharp swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Noble Sharp's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sharp tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fangto swivels and escapes.

Sharp shoots in but no luck this time.
Sharp shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fangto as he jumps to the side.

Fangto feints a jab and as Sharp dips his head, Fangto unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Sharp right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Sharp falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Fangto smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
