The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thong Song bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Corleone's head backwards.
Thong Song misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Corleone.
Thong Song just misses with a punch to the body.
Corleone feints the counter takedown.
Thong Song wants to land a leg kick but Corleone is out of range.

Corleone misses with a straight right.
Thong Song attempts a counter takedown but Corleone avoids it well and moves away.
Thong Song ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Frankie Corleone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corleone lands a leg kick that knocks Thong Song off balance momentarily.
Thong Song throws a head kick but Corleone moves out of range.

Corleone has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Thong Song.
Thong Song fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Corleone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Corleone misses with a takedown attempt - Thong Song sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Corleone is in close to Thong Song's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Corleone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Corleone working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Thong Song is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Corleone stands up over Thong Song, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Corleone is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Thong Song has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Corleone is looking to defend but Thong Song has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Corleone! Thong Song pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Corleone taps out and this one is all over!
