Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Trager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Kolloo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trager's entrance music is Bang Bang. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolloo stuffs the takedown.
Trager throws a body kick that misses.

Kolloo is looking for a sweep. Trager is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kolloo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Trager is working away from the top position though.

We've been hearing good reports from Trager's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Trager lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kolloo wants to control but Trager is keeping busy.
Trager looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kolloo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kolloo feints and then cracks Trager's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Trager down.

Trager feints and as Kolloo raises his hands in defense, Trager changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Trager has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kolloo doesn't defend quickly enough and Trager has managed to lock this one up! Can Kolloo escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Trager on a fantastic submission victory.
