The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Widda paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McGregor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Widda.
As McGregor looks to move away, Widda throws a big counter combo but McGregor just gets out of the way.
Widda tries for a takedown but McGregor circles away easily
and McGregor counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McGregor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Widda fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McGregor jabs Widda to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Decent striking displayed by McGregor there.
McGregor throws a nice looking combination but Widda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McGregor connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Widda avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McGregor closes the distance looking to clinch
and Widda counters with a series of strikes. McGregor will be more careful next time no doubt.
