Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Noob Saibot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Carlos Linhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saibot jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Linhares throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Saibot sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Linhares misses with a leg kick.
Saibot misses the shot to the body.

Saibot gets a double leg takedown into Linhares's guard.
Saibot working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Saibot in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Linhares isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Saibot stacks Linhares on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Saibot!
Saibot creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Linhares manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Saibot has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Linhares is working away from the top position though.
Saibot manages to get to full guard.

Saibot is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Linhares is aware though and is defending well.
Linhares works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Still in half guard, Linhares seems content to control.

Saibot is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Linhares pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Saibot tries to roll over but Linhares keeps him under control.
Linhares is looking to take a break and control but Saibot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Linhares wants to free his trapped foot but Saibot is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Saibot wants to improve his position but Linhares is controlling well.
Saibot regains full guard. Nicely done.

Saibot is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Linhares tries to free his leg and advance position but Saibot is retaining full guard.
Linhares postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Saibot had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Linhares defends it easily.
Linhares trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Linhares wants to control from the top but Saibot keeps moving.

Linhares got a little sloppy there for a moment and Saibot has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Linhares has managed to get both his arms back between Saibot's legs - danger averted.

Saibot has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Linhares doesn't defend quickly enough and Saibot has managed to lock this one up! Can Linhares escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Saibot on a fantastic submission victory.
