Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Subotai Hyrkanian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Kogert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyrkanian comes to the cage accompanied by Khan. The key to victory for Subotai Hyrkanian has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Subotai Hyrkanian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edgar Kogert!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyrkanian defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kogert.
Hyrkanian wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

and Hyrkanian makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Hyrkanian ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hyrkanian no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kogert has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Foundry. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kogert must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kogert is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kogert stands up over Hyrkanian, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Subotai Hyrkanian spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
