Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Busioni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patterson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "Still Unbroken" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Gary Busioni has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Busioni throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Patterson blocks it with crossed arms.
Busioni has Patterson pressed against the cage.
Patterson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Busioni looking to throw knees to the head but Patterson is blocking nicely.
Busioni breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Busioni moves into the clinch.
Busioni throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Busioni jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Patterson walks away with a smile on his face. Busioni gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Busioni should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Busioni goes for a takedown attempt but Patterson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Gary Busioni comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Busioni has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
