The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soszynski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Soszynski.
Soszynski uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones misses with a hook to the body
and Soszynski counters with a nice uppercut.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Krystian Soszynski has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Soszynski, as that shot connected.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Soszynski moves away.

Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Soszynski throws out the jab.
Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Jones counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Jones has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Jones throws a looping overhand right but Soszynski ducks down to avoid it.
Soszynski throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones cracks Soszynski with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Soszynski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Soszynski saw that one coming.
Jones gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jones scores with a decent looking hook.
Soszynski misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely.
