Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtly Ambrose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kylla Ei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kylla Ei has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtly Ambrose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kylla Ei!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ei looks to land a right hand but Ambrose moved out of range.
Ei fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Ei clinches up against the cage.
Ei looking to throw knees to the head but Ambrose is blocking nicely.
Ei tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ambrose is trying to stall.

Ambrose breaks the clinch.
Ei wants to land a leg kick but Ambrose is out of range.
Ei has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ei pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Ei fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ambrose, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ambrose misses with a hook to the ribs.

Ambrose breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ambrose takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ambrose lands a hook that snaps the head of Ei backwards.

Ei is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ambrose is defending well for now.

Ambrose cracks Ei with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ei moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ambrose swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ei throws a front kick aimed at Ambrose's knee but Ambrose avoids it well.
Ei lands with an overhand left.
Ei fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've been told by Ambrose's head coaches at LOD: Legion's PIT Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ei slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Ei throws a push kick but Ambrose slaps the foot to one side.
Ei throws out a loose jab but Ambrose uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ei pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ei throws a body kick that misses
and Ambrose counters with an inside leg kick.
Ambrose blocks a jab.

Ambrose pushes Ei up against the cage in a clinch.
Ambrose is pushing Ei up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Still in the clinch, Ambrose scores with a nice short uppercut.
Ei unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Ei utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Ei lands a hook to the side of the head.
A body shot lands from Ambrose.
Ambrose managing to block the knees to the body from Ei.
Ei throws a punch but it's blocked by Ambrose.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ambrose.
Ei looking to throw knees to the head but Ambrose is blocking nicely.

Ambrose escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ei misses with a looping right.
Ambrose does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ei throws a series of punches but Ambrose moves out of range.

Ei misses with a low kick.
Ambrose throws a sloppy head kick and Ei moves out of range easily.
Ei throws a hook to the side of Ambrose's head but Ambrose sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ei lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ambrose drives through and clinches with Ei against the cage.
Ambrose has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ambrose lands with a light punch inside.
Ei is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Ambrose escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ambrose takes one to the chin there.
Ei throws a right and a left that Ambrose avoids nicely.
Ei just misses with a punch to the body.
Ambrose throws a sloppy head kick and Ei moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kylla Ei dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Ei lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ambrose.
Ambrose throws a lazy right hand but Ei sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ei tries to counter with a clinch but Ambrose shakes him off and moves away.
Ei has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Ambrose looks to throw the jab but Ei is out of range.

Ambrose moves into the clinch.
Ei being controlled against the cage.
Ei blocks a body shot from Ambrose.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Ei.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ei lands a nice shot to the body.

Ambrose breaks the clinch.
Ei ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ambrose moves away.
Ei ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ei scores with a three punch combo!

Ei lands a slapping body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ei, right into the meat.
Ambrose turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ambrose scoring well with a low kick there.

Ei has Ambrose up against the cage in a clinch.
Ambrose tries to work over Ei's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ambrose misses with the head strike.
Ei lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ambrose backwards.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Ei.
Ambrose swings wildly with an uppercut but Ei uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ei lands a big right hand that sends Ambrose to the canvas! This could be the beginning of the end for Ambrose!


Ambrose is rocked!


It looks like Curtly Ambrose has been cut.
Ei is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Oh Ambrose is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ei is continuing to stall.
Ambrose wants to get back to full guard.
Ei lands strikes from half guard.
Ei seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ambrose avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ei.
Ei not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Ei has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ambrose is looking to improve his position.
Ei tries to pass to full mount but Ambrose defends it.
Ei stalling.
Ambrose seems to have got his legs back now.
Ei lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Ambrose quite badly. Ambrose pulls Ei in close trying to recover. Ei postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Ambrose on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Ambrose doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kylla Ei!
As Kylla Ei got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Sampo Jambo ur belt is next.'.
