Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ciarain Murtagh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miues Rafki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murtagh's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Foggy Dew. Miues Rafki will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miues Rafki!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murtagh leaves Rafki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Miues Rafki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rafki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Rafki has gone for a leg lock! Murtagh slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rafki's guard.

Rafki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Murtagh defends it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rafki is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Murtagh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murtagh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rafki swivels though and keeps the full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Rafki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Murtagh gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Murtagh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rafki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Murtagh is looking to stand up but Rafki won't let him.

Rafki has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Murtagh should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rafki has tightened it up now! Murtagh should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
