Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Siblas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Siblas comes to the cage accompanied by "Not Falling" by Mudvayne. Shaw is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Family Force 5 - Chainsaw. Jack Shaw has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Siblas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Shaw!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw scores with a head kick. Siblas tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Siblas misses with a body shot.
Shaw swings for the body but Siblas moves out of range.
Shaw has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Siblas finds it's way round the side to connect with Shaw's head.
Siblas with a nice cross.
Siblas throws a leg kick but Shaw checks it.
Siblas cracks Shaw with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Siblas drops his hands momentarily and Shaw takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Shaw chopping away at his opponent's legs.
An inside leg kick lands from Shaw.
Siblas checks a leg kick nicely.
Siblas fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Shaw on the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shaw fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Shaw ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Shaw on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Siblas throws a hook to the side of Shaw's head but Shaw sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shaw throws a head kick but Siblas moves out of range.
Siblas looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Siblas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Siblas fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Shaw checks it well.
It seemed like Shaw was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Siblas throws an overhand right that lands on Shaw's shoulder, as Shaw tries to avoid the shot.

Siblas tries to score with a low kick but Shaw moves his leg out of the way.

Shaw ducks right into an uppercut from Siblas.
Shaw connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Siblas momentarily.

It seemed like Shaw was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A jab from Siblas does it's job there.
Shaw will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Shaw misses with an uppercut. Siblas saw that one coming.

We've been informed that Shaw has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Siblas misses with a hook. Shaw ducked under it nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Siblas throws a predictable looking body shot
and Shaw counters with a straight right hand.
Siblas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Shaws jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Siblas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shaw was well out of range. Poor timing from Siblas.

Siblas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shaw.

Siblas jabs Shaw to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Shaw bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Siblas's head.

Siblas connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Siblas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shaw moves away.

Siblas takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Siblas throws a body shot but no joy.
Shaw lands with a kick to the ribs.

A little feinted left hand from Siblas on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Siblas scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Siblas throws a shot from downtown. Shaw moves away and avoids it.
A slow jab from Shaw misses its intended target.
Siblas bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Shaw takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Shaw lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Siblas misses with a wild body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A head kick misses from Shaw.
Siblas loads up on a big right hand but Shaw slips the punch.
Shaw throws a nice inside leg kick.
Shaw connects with a leg kick. Siblas looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Shaw tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Shaw tries to land a front kick but Siblas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Shaw closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tony Siblas will probably get the nod.

Shaw's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Shaw is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Siblas.

Shaw throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Siblas swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Shaw missing with a left hand there. Siblas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Siblas throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shaw stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shaw takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tony Siblas is winning the standup battle so far.
Shaw thuds his right hand into Siblas's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Siblas slips under a jab from Shaw.
Siblas looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Siblas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shaw throws a jab when Siblas was well out of range.
Siblas drops Shaw with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Shaw! Siblas dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Siblas!
In his post fight interview, Tony Siblas started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
