Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Heath Carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaq Auguste (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaq Auguste will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Auguste tries to bum rush Carlson with a series of wild strikes but Carlson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Auguste scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Auguste is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Carlson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Auguste's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Auguste's back!

Carlson looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Auguste is controlling Carlson 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.
Auguste is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Carlson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Auguste misses with a two punch combination.
Auguste fails to land the takedown.
As Auguste looks to move away, Carlson throws a big counter combo but Auguste just gets out of the way.

Auguste moves into range and clinches up with Carlson.

Auguste's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Auguste throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carlson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Carlson is rocked!
Auguste swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Carlson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Auguste!

Auguste throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Oh Carlson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Auguste cracks Carlson's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Carlson slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Auguste can do further damage! This one is done, son!
