The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donats sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Martin moves out of range of the body kick from Donats.

Martin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Donats moves into range and clinches up with Martin.

Donats is trying to break the clinch but Martin is controlling him.

Martin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Martin feints and then cracks Donats's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Donats down.

It looks like Martin has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

A head kick by Martin - that's a beauty! Donats is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Martin can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

A very excited looking Frank Martin made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Dunkin Donats spoke after the fight, saying 'I will be stronger'.
