Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JJ Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cris Cyborg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cris Cyborg will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush shoots in and drives through. Cyborg sprawls well.

Bush gets a double leg takedown into Cyborg's guard.
Bush trying to control but Cyborg is working from the bottom.
Bush postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cyborg can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cyborg avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bush postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Bush loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bush landing some decent shots from guard.
Bush wants to control from the top but Cyborg keeps moving.
Bush is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Bush throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cyborg works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bush accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bush wants to pass the guard but Cyborg is keeping the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like Cris Cyborg has been cut.

Cyborg is still in real trouble! Can Bush finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bush postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Cyborg covers up, he's hurt! Bush keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Bush and the ref steps in to end the fight! Bush can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
