Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Claudio Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rock drives through with a takedown into Todd's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Todd has his feet on Rock's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Rock fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Todd to the ground. Rock is now in Todd's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rock seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Todd seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Rock controls from within his opponent's guard.
Todd has a closed guard, preventing Rock from standing up.
Todd wants to sweep here but Rock controlling him for the moment.
Rock wants to control from the top but Todd keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Todd is trying to control the position but Rock postures up.
Todd will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Todd swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Todd wants to sweep but no luck.

Rock forces his way into half guard.
Todd is in trouble now - Rock has advanced to mount!
Rock takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Todd tries to lock up and control but Rock gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Todd is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rock is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Rock! Todd is hurt baaadly! Rock is firing away with more strikes - Todd is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
