The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chernicin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kerr is standing up over Chernicin. Chernicin looks to escape but Kerr dives into side control.

Kerr working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Chernicin tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chernicin is trying to work for a sweep but Kerr has mounted him!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kerr looking to control but Chernicin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Kerr has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Kerr working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Chernicin is doing well to defend. Kerr seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Chernicin is forced to tap and this one is over!
