Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Flash!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh shoots in looking for a takedown. Flash tries to sprawl out of it but Marsh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Flash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Flash unleashes a big counter combination but Marsh bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Marsh tries to keep at a distance but Flash has taken the fight into the clinch.

Flash jumps guard and drags Marsh to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Flash is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Marsh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flash wants to get back to his feet but Marsh is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Flash has momentary wrist control but Marsh slips an elbow through the middle.
Marsh postures up.
Marsh sitting in guard, not really doing much.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Flash lands with a big left! Marsh is wobbled badly! Flash comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Marsh to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rick Flash!
Rick Flash decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
